Brief description of Current Primary Focus:

I work as a medical doctor in my own practice. Most of my patients have pain or movement difficulties. Among them are many musicians and dancers. I do a lot of hands-on work and verbal teaching of groups.

I studied medicine.

Background in Somatic Movement Education, including any certifications earned:

I am a pupil of Mia Segal, who transfers the work of Moshe Feldenkrais in her unique way. André Bernard connected me with the fascinating world of “The Thinking Body.” Also, Amos Hetz from Israel deepened my understanding of movement.

Learning Experiences Related to Mabel Todd’s Educational Legacy:

For me was striking how theoretical information about the human anatomy (I learned many of them in medical school) became lively doing “The Thinking Body” work. This helped to feel the potential of my body in addition to my experiences with the work of Moshe Feldenkrais.

Professional activities, areas of research, or personal inquiry related to the goals of TBI:

I published with Ursula Stricker the book about the work of André Bernard.
